Exterior (Trims)
Choose from several trims that include the XL, XLT, STX, King Ranch, Limited, Lariat, and Platinum. For entertainment and connectivity, standard features include the FordPass Connect modem featuring 4G LTE wi-fi with connections for a maximum of 10 devices, a USB port, and wireless charging capability. There’s also a telematics suite designed for fleet operators to manage and track vehicle data points. The suite is available for the Lariat and other high-end trims.
Power and Performance
The F-250 is no stranger when it comes to power and for 2020, the bar is raised once again with the addition of the 7.3-liter high-output V-8 paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Two other engines are also available. These include the 6.2-liter V-8 supported by a 6-speed automatic transmission and the 6.7-liter turbodiesel, with an improved fuel injection system and turbocharger, which means more power and torque.
The towing and payload capacity have been a strong point for the F-250, and this continues with the 2020. The truck’s ratings for fifth-wheel, conventional, and gooseneck payload and towing capabilities will be at the highest level exceeding its previous ratings according to Ford.
