The 2021 Ford F-150 has a lot to offer. Not only does it outperform almost every other truck in its class when it comes to towing and payload capabilities, but it also has unique features that separate it from its competitors.

Trim Levels (Exterior)

The F-150 comes in six different trims. The most affordable option is the XL model. The following models are listed in order of price class: XLT, Lariat, King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited.No matter which trim you choose, the truck has a military-grade aluminum body and best-in-class tow ratings.

In the summer of 2021, the Tremor model will also be available to purchase. Built specifically for off-road use but with the vast towing capabilities of an F-150, this is definitely a truck to be on the lookout for.

Engine (Power)

This Ford truck comes with six available engines. Among these is the class-exclusive 3.5L PowerBoost Full Hybrid V6 engine with a whopping 430 horsepower and impressive 570 pound-feet of torque. Being a hybrid engine, the PowerBoost combines power from both gas and electricity, making it a more environmentally friendly option.


Another option is the 3.0L Power Stroke, Turbo Diesel with 250 horsepower and 440 pound-feet of torque. The 3.5L EcoBoost V6 is also available and comes with a 10-speed transmission that delivers 400 horsepower and 500 pound-feet of torque.

There is also one V8 engine available in the form of the 5.0L Ti-VCT V8 that offers 400 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. The standard option for several of the models is the 3.3L Ti-VCT V6 engine with 290 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque. The F-150 engines offer something for everyone.

Performance

If you are looking for a high-performing truck, this is definitely a great option. With 14.000 pounds maximum towing capacity and best-in-class payload, the F-150 does not disappoint in performance. It is built for tough conditions and has been tested in extreme temperatures and weather conditions.

The XL trim comes with a rearview camera. This truck offers available Pro Trailer Backup Assist, making backing up a trailer easier than ever by simply rotating a knob in the same direction you want the trailer to go. The truck can also be purchased equipped with the Blind Spot Information System with Trailer Coverage which alerts the driver when a car approaches the trailer or is in the driver’s blind spot.

Interior

The Ford F-150 offers a lot in terms of smart design, modern technology, and comfort. The XL model is equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen. From the Lariat trim and upwards, a 12-inch screen that matches the interior of the car with 12 different drive modes is standard. The truck can easily convert into an office space as well.

The 2021 F-150 comes equipped with projector LED headlights. You can also use the available selectable zone lightning to light up chosen areas around your truck.

Safety Features

The F-150 is as dependable as ever with a strong metal frame that can withstand a lot. The Pre-Collision Assist with automatic braking in emergency situations makes your truck able to assist you in the face of potential collisions by automatically braking when necessary.
