The 2020 Ford Explorer has been upgraded, and the features are perfect for hitting the road for an adventure. Each feature was designed for a better driving experience and to assist you in all your on-road needs.
1. New Front Dash
With the new front dash of the Ford Explorer, you can customize the interior to your liking. The dashboard has tutorials for easy configuration and for explaining the different displays it features. Other improvements can be seen in the performance system check and updates about your Explorer.
2. Better Seating Arrangement
The Ford Explorer features a three-row seating arrangement where six people can fit comfortably. This makes it easy for the passengers and the cargo you may want to bring along on your trip. But in case you need more cargo and not more passengers, you can fold it for better use.
3. Rearview Camera for a Clear View
When backing up, a clear camera makes a huge difference for safety. With this new feature, backing up is easier, and the view will help you see exactly what’s behind your vehicle. As soon as you reverse, the review camera will be crystal clear.
4. Parking Made Easy With a Button
Parking just became easier with just one button. This feature works by letting you know about the best parking spot, getting in position, and then pressing the button for the system to do the rest. The sensor will also notify you if the vehicle is too close to another car.
5. Better High Beam Headlights
The Ford Explorer is equipped with high beam lights that help you drive in those dark roads making sure you arrive at your destination. When a road is too dark, it adjusts the lighting and it also protects other drivers as it automatically dims the light as not to blind them.
6. Self-Sealing Tires
When driving and you encounter a puncture in the tread of the tire it will seal the puncture. The tire that will be used is a Michelin self-seal tire made with a special material. The puncture that will be sealed is just up until 6mm in diameter.
7. Emergency Braking
This new feature will let you know about a possible collision risk. For the safety of the passengers and the pedestrians or other cars, it scans ahead to notify you so you can break and avoid any accidents.
8. More Visibility
With four cameras so that you can see from every angle of the Ford Explorer will make it easy when in tight corners or in unknown trails. The different cameras can be found in the grille, liftgate, and under each of the side-view mirrors.
These features are the reason the Explorer is a great choice. Why not pick one up today? You’ll be happy with it for years of great service. If you want to test-drive the new Ford Explorer then come visit Jack Madden Ford to give you the full Ford experience.
