3 Great New Features of the Redesigned 2020 Ford Escape

If you’re looking for a new car, you should know that the 2020 Ford Escape stands out from the pack. The car is built to get you from Point A to Point B safely and quickly, and you’ll find that it does so in a way that gives you plenty of comfort and peace of mind. Even better is that the car does all that while giving you great fuel efficiency and something that will turn heads as you cruise down the street.

Co-Pilot360 Technology

Safety is the name of the game in 2020. Ford certainly seems to understand that adage. By packing in the Co-Pilot 360 features, the car is made to help drivers if they ever lose a little focus or something pops up out of the blue. Technologies such as lane assist and pre-collision warnings. These features warn you if you lose focus a bit and engage the breaks if your reactions aren’t fast enough.

High-beam headlights and cameras that keep tabs on all sides of your Escape will make sure you see everything around you at all times. You’ll be as safe and secure as possible when you are out on the road, even in the darkest night. Park Assist also means that you’ll have peace of mind there too when you get where you’re going.

Multiple Drive Modes

The Ford Escape isn’t the first car to have more than one drive mode, but it is one of the first to perfect a trio of those modes. Set the car to “normal” mode and you’ll have a balance between getting up and go and fuel efficiency. If you set the car to eco mode, you’ll still have more than enough power to get you where you’re going, but you’ll be conserving plenty of fuel.

Sport mode is more than quicker acceleration. The car will have a sportier steering feel as well as throttle response. The suspension also stiffens, giving the driver a better feel for turns and handling. Even the shifting will feel more like you’re piloting a sports car instead of a “grocery getter.”

Heads Up Display

While not as direct a safety feature as the Co-Pilot 360 system, you’ll be surprised how useful and functional the heads up display is, especially when you’ve been on the road for a while. Instead of having to look down at the dash to see your speed or heading, you can star straight ahead, always keeping your eyes on the road.

You can also set what will be shown in the heads up display before you begin your trip. This way, you always have the data and readouts that mean the most to you, right where you need them to be.

If you want to see any of these features up close and personal, we can help you do that. Give a call to Jack Madden Ford today and schedule a test drive. We think you’ll like what you see and like how it drives.
