4 Reasons Drivers Love the 2024 Ford Mustang

Parked in front of almost every Ford dealership and representing the newest generation of all-American muscle, the 2024 Ford Mustang is no slouch. With up to 500 horsepower under the hood and a slew of technological innovations both inside and out, it's no wonder this year's Mustang is putting a grin on drivers' faces. more Open Secrets from a Ford Dealership: 4 Reasons Drivers Love the 2024 Ford Mustang 1. The Growl American muscle cars are a dying breed. But the Ford Mustang stays the course, becoming one of the few cars in its class to still offer the full-throated growl of a 5.0-liter V8. The Gen-4 Coyote engine offers 468 horsepower in GT trims and a stunning 500 horsepower in Dark Horse trims. Even its little brother, the EcoBoost 3.2-liter engine, has a pleasing and muscular sound that belies its displacement. Regardless of the size, drivers love the sound of the Mustang so much that Ford actually put in a Remote Rev feature for Mustangs with an automatic transmission, allowing drivers to show off to friends and competitors alike without having to get behind the wheel. 2. Manual Means Connection The EcoBoost trim of the Mustang comes with a 10-speed automatic transmission and paddle shifters standard, making it a powerful and playful joy on the road. But stepping up to the GT or Dark Horse trims opens up the option for a 6-speed manual transmission, instantly offering an even more intimate connection to this year's pony car. Ford has continued to innovate even in manual transmission technology. The available TREMEC 6-speed manual has an automatic rev-matching and "no-lift shifting" experience, allowing drivers to change gears without taking their foot off the gas pedal. 3. The Track Abilities Available Integrated Track Apps display gives real-time performance information on either the 13.2 center display or the 12.4-inch console with video-game-like graphics, displaying acceleration statistics, both lateral and longitudinal g-forces, and lap times. It also offers automatic, and countdown starts for more racing fun. 4. Highway Manners Just because the Mustang lets loose on the track doesn't mean it can't behave itself in public. Ford's CoPilot 360 technology helps drivers remain safe and polite by offering lane drift, blind spot and cross-traffic detection, pre-collision assistance with automatic emergency braking, and adaptive cruise control, which can help you keep pace with traffic even in stop-and-go conditions. Auto high-beam headlamps will even dim your bright lights when it detects oncoming headlights, helping you see as much as possible without blinding others on the road. You can read all you want about the 2024 Mustang, but here's one last secret: nothing compares to experiencing it firsthand. Schedule your test drive at Jack Madden Ford in Norwood MA, and let the Mustang show you why it's still a favorite after all these years.

Ford Expedition - 7 Amazing Car Safety Features on Today's Fords

7 Amazing Car Safety Features on Today's Fords

These days, Ford vehicles are remarkably safe to drive. You might be surprised at how many state-of-the-art car safety features your Ford has. Some of them monitor your surroundings, ready to alert you of danger on the road, while others monitor parts of your car to let you know if you should visit your local Ford dealer to have something checked or repaired. Here are seven of the best safety features in a modern Ford. more 7 Amazing Car Safety Features on Today's Fords Lane-Keeping System In a distracted moment, you might accidentally swerve into another lane without signaling. Your Ford detects this and, because you didn't signal, knows it might be accidental swerving. It warns you by gently vibrating the steering wheel. And it even applies a little steering torque to help you correct and get back into the right lane. Blind Spot Information System One common cause of driving accidents is the blind spots we have to the rear on either side. Using radar, your Ford covers this for you. It detects the presence of vehicles in either of your blind spots. If something's there, it gives you a warning which is usually a visual on the corresponding mirror. Cross-Traffic Alert Backing out of a parking spot is a whole lot easier these days. In a modern Ford, Cross-Traffic Alert lets you know when a vehicle is approaching on either side, even if you can't yet see it. Active Park Assist While not the most dangerous situation, parking in tight spots can lead to costly bumps and scrapes. Active Park Assist helps you out by determining when a parking spot is large enough for your car. It then takes over the steering, parking the car for you. All you need to do is adjust the brake, gears, and throttle. AdvanceTrac Electronic Stability Control One danger with driving is that of losing traction on slippery patches of the road surface. The AdvanceTrac Electronic Stability Control system monitors your road conditions and notices any dangerous changes far more quickly and precisely than a human can. It then adjusts your engine power and brakes to optimize speed for good tire traction on the new road conditions. Tire Pressure Monitoring System Tires should always have just the right amount of inflation. An overinflated tire has reduced traction and is more susceptible to damage from debris on the road. An under-inflated tire will begin to overheat, which can lead to tread separation, premature wear, and potential blowouts. Your Ford's Tire Pressure Monitoring System lets you know if the pressure of any single tire is too much or too little, so you can then adjust the pressure accordingly. Alerts for Your Ford Dealer to Check A modern Ford has hundreds of computer chips monitoring every part of your car. If any sort of problem is detected, it gives you an alert, such as the "check engine" light. When prompted by an alert, you can have a technician at your local dealership identify the underlying problem and fix it long before it develops into something dangerous. This is perhaps the most important way that your Ford keeps you safe on the road. To have an experienced professional demonstrate all the safety features of a Ford in person, visit Jack Madden Ford. We've been proudly providing the drivers of Boston with vehicles and servicing for 60 years.

To simplify the process of parking, Active Park Assist 2.0 can maneuver the F-150 in and out of appropriate spaces after you've shifted into neutral, and if you need to traverse down steep slopes, Hill Descent Control can help provide more traction as it functions as a cruise control at low speeds. The 2021 Ford Expedition continues the brand legacy with its beefy build, stylish exterior, and dependable performance. Here are a few reasons why we think the Ford Expedition should be everyone's next choice for an SUV. more Complete Comfort Gone are the days of having to sacrifice looks for comfort. The Ford Expedition brings a sporty silhouette we love while still being family-friendly. Nobody wants to haul a gaggle of kids around in an uncomfortable SUV; the kids are miserable, you're unhappy, and the whole trip is a disaster if you're driving a poor vehicle. The Ford Expedition ensures comfort for all passengers, from the big ones to the tiny ones, and whether they're in the front row or back. Ergonomically shaped and padded, the seats provide optimum comfort and support. There's also plenty of legroom in all rows, making it an excellent vehicle for anyone frequently carting around groups of teens or adults. You'll also have your pick of plenty of optional upgrades, such as heated seats, heated steering wheel, and woodgrain accents on the console and media bin. Trailer Assistance and Safety System If you aren't just hauling kids but trailers as well, you'll be delighted with the Trailer Assistance features available to you on the Expedition Max models. If you're concerned about overloading or how your trailer will sway with various cargo weights inside it, the Expedition has the technology you need! The vehicle has a setting that monitors the load's weight and adjusts accordingly. A backing assistance feature helps you keep everything between the lines as you reverse your trailer. You don't have to be a hauling professional to feel confident in the Ford Expedition. Plenty of Storage However, you may not need a trailer with all the room in the Ford Expedition. Having the option to fold down the back two rows of seats means you can effortlessly create additional space for whatever you're bringing along. The extended length Expedition Max model even adds extra length onto the car for easier cargo carrying. Seating Selections Depending on which model you opt for, you may have the choice between captain's chairs or a bench seat for the second-row seating. Having captain's chairs instead of the traditional bench seat can make your life much easier, especially if you have two teens or preteens who quarrel over space. Or if your Expedition will frequently have adults riding in the second and third rows. The more personalized you can make your vehicle to your lifestyle, the happier you will be in the long run. We love seeing Ford recognize that fact and offer their drivers more personalization options. You should drive an SUV as unique and versatile as you.
