Blind-Spot Warning With Cross-Traffic Alert
Highways with multiple lanes of traffic can make lane changes tricky. Fortunately, blind-spot warning makes it easier for you to know if you can safely change lanes. This features monitors for vehicles that might be driving in your blind-spot and hard to see. If it detects a vehicle in your blind spot, it will alert you with a warning light in the side mirror. The system also includes rear cross-traffic alert, which can detect traffic behind your vehicle when you’re trying to back out of a driveway or parking space.
Pre-Collision Assist With Automatic Emergency Braking
Pre-collision assist uses a camera to detect a potential collision with a pedestrian or vehicle in front of you — day or night. If it detects a potential collision, it will sound an alert and flash a warning in the message center. It will also increase the sensitivity of the brake assist system, so you have full responsiveness when you brake. If you don’t respond in time and a collision is expected, automatic emergency braking will kick in and automatically apply the brakes.
Lane-Keeping System

Reverse Brake Assist
Backing up isn’t always easy to do, especially if you’re in a tight parking space and can’t see very well. That’s when reverse brake assist can help. During the day and in clear weather, reverse brake assist can provide an alert if it detects pedestrians, bicyclists, vehicles, and stationary objects behind you. Additionally, if you don’t react in time after the audible and visual warning, the system can bring your vehicle to a complete stop.
Active Park Assist 2.0
Do you dread parallel or reverse perpendicular parking? Then you’ll love active park assist 2.0. This advanced system that’s available in select Ford models handles almost every part of parking for you. When you’re ready to park, simply press the button and the system will start scanning for a suitable spot. When it alerts you to a good spot, shift your vehicle into neutral, take your foot off the brake pedal, and hold down the park assist button. The system will then take care of accelerating, braking, steering, and shifting.
