The restyled 2025 Ford Expedition models come with upgraded exteriors, an interior packed with the latest features, and a new multi-function split gate. Whether you’re cruising around town or off-roading, there’s a trim level suited for every driver.
Trim Levels of the 2025 Ford Expedition
Active
The base trim level comes standard with a 3.5L EcoBoost V6 Engine powering up to 400 hp and delivering 480 lb-ft of torque. Standard equipment also includes multilink independent bar suspension, electronic stability control, and lane-centering assist. The exterior has a refined style with polished stainless steel beltline molding, LED reflector headlamps with signature lighting, and a carbon black molded grille with ebony-painted bars.
Inside, it has 8-passenger seating, including a 10-way power driver seat and 8-way power passenger seats. You’ll also find tri-zone electronic automatic temperature control, a 24-inch panoramic instrument panel display, and six speakers.
Tremor
Designed for off-roading and delivering a more powerful ride, the Tremor model comes standard with a 3.5L EcoBoost V6 high-output engine powering up to 440 hp and delivering 510 lb-ft of torque. You can also expect 18-inch aluminum wheels with 33-inch all-terrain tires, a 3.73 electronic-locking differential, traction control, and roll stability control.
Inside, the leather-trimmed seats are heated in the first and second row and the 10-way power driver seats come with memory settings. The sound system is also upgraded with 10 speakers, including a subwoofer from Bang & Olufsen.
King Ranch
The King Ranch model shares the same engine and performance output as the base trim but boasts additional exterior and interior standard features, such as a panoramic vista roof, rain-sensitive windshield wipers, and zone lighting. Upgrades inside include a second-row power-folding tip and slide captain’s chairs, a 12.4-inch digital LCD gauge instrumentation display, and 22 speakers including a subwoofer from Bang & Olufsen.
For better handling on different road conditions, this trim also comes standard with the intelligent 4WD with terrain management system.
Platinum
The Platinum trim shares the same upgrades as the King Ranch trim, including side view mirrors that are power-folding, autofolding, and have heated glass. However, the interior has some differences, such as the added multi-contour seats with active motion massage and only 10 Bang & Olufsen speakers, including a subwoofer.
