This small SUV has more towing power than others in its class. With the four-cylinder, it can handle up to 2,000 pounds, and the three-cylinder can tow 1,400 pounds.
The Technology
The base EcoSport comes with a 4.2-inch display screen, two USB ports, and a 6-speaker stereo. New for 2020, Ford PassConnect comes standard at all trim levels. This has a Wi-Fi hot spot and access to a mobile app that allows the owner to lock and unlock the doors from a phone.

The Convenience Package for the SE adds a 110-volt power outlet, voice-controlled navigation, and Wi-Fi. Choose the Titanium for a 10-speaker B&O stereo system.
The Cabin
Five people can fit in this subcompact SUV. The SE has heated front seats, and you can add ambient lighting with the Convenience Package. The Titanium trim adds a heated steering wheel, leather upholstery, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. If you bump up to the SES, it has steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters. The cargo area in the EcoSport is spacious for this class of vehicle.
The Safety Features
All the 2020 EcoSport models have a rearview camera, traction control, and roll stability control. If you bump up to the SE, it adds rear parking sensors and the option for the Convenience Package with blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert. These optional safety features come standard if you bump up to either the Titanium or SES trims.
The 2020 EcoSport is fun to drive and offers some of the connectivity and technology you want. It also offers the option for all-wheel drive for those who need it.
