What is the Difference Between the 2018 Ford F-150 Platinum and Limited?
The 2018 Ford F-150 is a robust performance-minded workhorse. Available in 7 unique trim levels, including the Western-styled King Ranch®, and off-road heavy Raptor, there’s a 2018 Ford F-150 for every driver.
Between the top two trim levels, there are differences in both exterior styling and features. On the outside, the 2018 Ford F-150 Platinum gets a satin chrome two-bar style grille with satin chrome surround and silver mesh inserts. The upgraded 2018 Ford F-150 Limited receives a satin finish main bars with chrome minor bars style, satin finish surrounds and silver inserts.
Other exterior embellishments include a body-color skull-cap for the side mirrors, which is replaced with chrome in the 2018 Ford F-150 Platinum. Door handles are likewise chrome in the 2018 Ford F-150 Platinum and upgraded to a satin chrome with body-color bezel in the 2018 Ford F-150 Limited.
For maximum peace of mind drivers will enjoy the 360°camera with split-view display, adaptive cruise control, pre-collision assist with pedestrian detection and lane-keeping system. All are standard on the 2018 Ford F-150 Limited, and available as an option on the 2018 Ford F-150 Platinum.

The 2018 Ford F-150 Limited, on the other hand, gets the turbocharged 3.5L EcoBoost® V6 present in the Raptor which delivers 375-horsepower and an astonishing 470 lb-ft. of torque.
